The default verification channel for Superhero accounts is via SMS. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security feature which requires you, as a Superhero account holder, to authorise all actions on the Superhero platform.
You will be prompted to provide a verification code via SMS if you are:
- Placing a trade
- Changing details on platform
- Withdrawing funds
To change your 2FA Method from SMS to Email, please submit a request via this form.
Please select “Trading” as the category and then “Update Two Factor Authentication (2FA)”.

If you are travelling overseas, and will not have your Australian sim card in your phone, you could consider temporarily switching to email as your 2FA method.
